Hyderabad: Lambasting the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, and his mother, Ms Vijayamma, for criticizing the AICC president, Ms Sonia Gandhi, during electioneering in Kadapa, the Congress MLC, Mr K R Amos, has said that Ms Vijayamma had not even got up when Ms Sonia Gandhi consoled her when Dr YSR died in a helicopter crash.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Congress Legislature Party office here on Tuesday, Mr Amos said that it was not proper for Mr Jagan and Ms Vijayamma to criticize Ms Sonia Gandhi that she had not given an appointment. He also asked Mr Jagan and his mother whether they gave respect to Ms Sonia Gandhi when she visited the CM’s Camp office after Dr YSR died. He pointed out that the whole Delhi had come to Hyderabad to pay respects to Dr YSR’s body.
Mr Amos said that the State government would initiate action against Mr Jagan for amassing wealth by corrupt practices after securing adequate evidence. He also said that he and Mr K Yadava Reddy would implead as petitioners in the case against Mr Jagan as the TDP and the Handlooms and Textiles Minister, Dr P Shankar Rao, have approached the court on Mr Jagan’s corrupt practices.
