Nellore: The Congress MLA, Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy, has taken a strong exception at party MP, Mr Ponnam Prabhakar, terming the Congress party as the first accused in the Telangana problem.

Talking to the media here on Thursday, he has questioned Mr Prabhakar with whose permission he has resigned. He also asked him and others whether they would resign at the instance of the TRS chief, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao. He also faulted his comparison of the Telangana problem to a territorial issue of the country. He said such comments come under treason.

Replying to questions, he said it was their fault to have resigned when the first announcement on Telangana came on December 9. He said it was also wrong on the part of the Telangana Congress representatives to resign.
