The first accident of Volvo Bus fire on October 30, in this incident 45 passengers were burnt alive as the Volvo bus they were traveling from Bangalore to Hyderabad burst into flames after fire break out on hitting a culvert at Mahboobnagar District in Andhra Pradesh.
The driver of the bus was overstressed and there were fire crackers inside the bus.
According to findings of investigation that probed two recent road mishaps in which 52 persons were killed.
The investigation has said that “the driver was overstressed. He could not find a break (rpt) a break and was assigned on double duty,” Road Transport and Highways Minister Oscar Fernandes.
“There were fire crackers also in the Bangalore-Hyderabad bus,” he added.
The bus might have caught fire due to a spark and fire crackers might have exploded, the Minister said.
