kiran kumar reddy(7)Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy today said that the decision of bifurcating Andhra Pradesh as an ‘Atom Bomb’ and vowed to fight till last for preserving the unified state.

During the public meeting held at Rajahmundry today to mark the third round of Racha Banda programme, he said he was prepared for any amount of sacrifice for keeping Andhra Pradesh united, keeping in mind utmost the interests of the people all regions.

Reiterating his argument that the loss to Telangana on account of bifurcation was more when compared to Seemandhra region, he said electricity and irrigation were the two areas that would be affected whereas the seemandhra people would face hardships in the fields of education and employment.

Demand for power in Telangana was double than that of the generation, he said, adding similarly irrigation projects were indivisible and the problems on water sharing would be perennial.

In case of floods, coordination of relief and rehabilitation would be a herculean task as the effect would be similar on both regions, he said and added that bifurcation would prove to be a death blow as the resources would be meager and hardly sufficient to run the administration.
