Hyderabad: In connection with the inquiry into the assets of the Kadapa MP, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CBI investigating officers today interrogated the former managing director of APIIC, Mr B P Acharya, and recorded his statement about the EMMAR deals.
According to the information, so far, representatives of 16 companies, which invested money in Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s companies, provided required information to the CBI sleuths. Representatives of four more companies are expected to furnish details to the investigating officials today and tomorrow
Following a direction from the High Court, the CBI officials were studying records pertaining to land allotments, permissions and concessions given to the companies which invested money in the companies owned by Mr Jagan. The CBI sleuths were requisitioning records from the Revenue, IT, Industries and Mines departments. The sleuths also reportedly perusing records of construction cost of the palatial buildings of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.
