Anantapur: The senior CPI leader, Mr Ramakrishna, has taken a serious objection to the remarks of the Union Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram, that the Telugu-speaking people alone should settle the separate Telangana State issue.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Mr Ramakrishna criticized the Union government for delaying the separate Telangana issue even after convening all-party meetings and possessing the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee’s report on Telangana.

Demanding that the ministers belonging to the Telangana and Seemandhra regions to shun making provocative statements poisoning the minds of the people, the CPI leader asked them to resign from their posts and plunge into the separate Telangana and united Andhra Pradesh agitations.
