Hyderabad: The Congress MLAs from the Chief Minister’s native Chittoor district on Monday met the AICC leader in charge of State affairs, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, and reportedly complained to him about his style of functioning.
The MLAs, Ms Kutuhalamma, Mr Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Mr Ravi and Mr Shahjahan have submitted a written complaint against the Chief Minister to Mr Azad.
Mr Azad reportedly told them that he would discuss about their complaint with them on Tuesday and asked them to remain in Hyderabad. Consequently, Mr Ramachandra Reddy has postponed his foreign tour scheduled for Tuesday.
It is said that the Jubilee Hills MLA, Mr P. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, is also preparing to complain against the Chief Minister. He has openly stated recently that the Chief Minister was not giving appointment even to the party MLAs. It is also learnt that there was a rift between the Chief Minister and the PCC chief, Mr D Srinivas. The party leaders are stating that there was no coordination between the two. Supporters of the PCC chief are alleging that the Chief Minister was not consulting the PCC chief and was trying to run the administration single handedly. They argue that this would cause damage to the party.
The Transport Minister, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, is also stated to be having differences with the Chief Minister. He has indirectly faulted the style of functioning of both the Chief Minister and the PCC chief recently. (NSS)
