Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will tour Kurnool district on Saturday, where he would inaugurate newly constructed buildings of educational institutions as part of the Education Fortnight.
According to an official statement, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy would leave for Kurnool District at 9 AM and reach the Malyala Project site at 10.55 AM, where he will inaugurate Kasturba Gandhi School building at Banaganapalle.
He will lay foundation stone for Model School to be built at a cost of Rs 3.02 crore as part of the Education Fortnight.
The Chief Minister will lay stone for Daddanala Lift Irrigation Scheme to be built at a cost of Rs 9 crore.
Later he will address a public meeting and distribute assets to the beneficiaries at Banaganapalle.
Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy will also inaugurate Government Nursing College Building at Kurnool Medical College, built at a cost of Rs 4.80 crore besides inaugurating the Maternity Child Block at the Government General Hospital costing Rs 3.77 crore.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate a Rs 36.67 crore Water Supply scheme of the Kurnool Municipal Corporation.
Later the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting with the district officers at Collectorate on the government flagship programmes before returning to Hyderabad.(INN)
