The newly elected TDP city president Talasani Srinivas Yadav was accorded a warm welcome and garlanded by the party cadre at the party’s Hyderabad district office on Monday. The party is likely to organize a public meeting by the end of this month at Nizam’s ground in Hyderabad, in which MLAs, MPs, polit-bureau members and leaders of various levels would participate.
Speaking to media, on the occasion Srinivas Yadav, ridiculed the ruling congress, saying that it had failed to protect communal harmony in the city. He was determined to see that the party expanded and strengthened. He said that the party would plan for weekly visit to each of the constituencies in the city, and fight on public issues. He added that the party would pressurize the officials, until the peoples’ needs are fulfilled.
Addressing the party workers, he cautioned them to bring the issues immediately to his notice, in case any unwelcome things happen or differences among the party workers arose, which would tarnish the party image. He directed the party workers to organize monitoring cells to attend to the public grievances. He instructed the party cadre to form division committees and strengthen its different wings like youth, women, minorities. (NSS)
