Hyderabad: The Congress MLA and Union Minister Ms Purandeshwari’s husband Dr Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao has made it clear that he has nothing to do with the differences that took place within the TDP.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Dr Rao urged the media not to make his family responsible for the differences in the TDP. He said that he was happy with the positions he got in the Congress party. He made it clear that he was ready to sit in home silently, if anybody has objections, but his family should not be pulled into the dispute.

It may be recalled that in a section of the media has published a story stating that Ms Purandeshwari was the reason for differences within the TDP and also a fight was going on within the party for dominance.

The story also mentioned that differences have arisen between the TDP Chief Mr N Chandrababu Naidu and Mr Harikrishna. Ms Purandeshwari was inciting Mr Harikrishna for the Chief Minister post and it led the differences in the Vijayawada TDP. (NSS)
