Former Endowment Minister Jupally Krishna Rao had directed the Endowment Commissioner to suspend four officials including Srinivasa Rao for poor amenities in the cottages which were provided to devotees at the Lakshminarayana Swamy temple last February.
The Minister had noticed the poor amenities during his visit to the temple to inaugurate the newly constructed main entrance of the temple.

After performing special puja under the chairmanship of China Jeeyar Swamiji, the then Minister had inaugurated the main entrance. He had then proceeded to take an inspection tour where he inspected the cottages in the premises of the hill shrine. These cottages provide shelter to visiting devotees.

Not satisfied with their explanations, Mr Krishna Rao had immediately telephoned the Endowment Commissioner and directed him to suspend them immediately from their posts. He also ordered an inquiry. (INN)
