Hyderabad: Demanding that the YSR Congress Party Chief and Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, explain how could he attract investments to the tune of a whopping Rs 1,800 crores to his Sakshi daily and Rs 1,200 crores to Bharathi Cements, the Health Minister, Dr D L Ravindra Reddy, has alleged that the agreements, which benefited Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy during his late father Dr YSR’s regime, were signed without the consent of 95 per cent of the then ministers.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Dr Ravindra Reddy said the truth behind amassing huge assets by Mr Jagan would come out soon. He said the Emaar Properties issue never came for discussion during Dr YSR’s rule. He felt that more facts about Mr Jagan’s ill-gotten wealth would come out soon. Further inquiry would reveal that more companies were involved in Mr Jagan’s illegal assets case.
Stating that the Nursing Corporate Colleges’ Managements would meet the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on July 29, Dr Ravindra Reddy said he strongly believed that the managements would not resort to strike. He said he would not succumb to the pressure of private hospitals and would not hike medical charges under any circumstances. He also said deliberations were going on with the private hospital managements on Arogyasri Scheme.
