Hyderabad: Lambasting the main Opposition Telugu Desam party for failing to perform its duty perfectly, the Rural Development Minister, Mr D Manikya Varaprasada Rao, has urged all the political parties and the government to conduct “Assembly proceedings” in the villages.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Saturday, Mr Prasada Rao said that he would address a letter to the Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Deputy Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, and all political parties in this regard. He said that half of the proceedings should be held in the villages to educate the people about the proceedings. He also said that the Assembly proceedings could be held in Bengaluru and Belgaum in Karnataka, Mumbai and Nagpur in Maharashtra. (NSS)
