Tirumala: The celestial wedding ceremony of Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Padmavati will be celebrated on a grand scale for three days from May 11 here.
According to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, ‘Arjita rahmotsavam’, ‘Vasantotsavam,’ and ‘Dipalankarana’ services would be cancelled on these days. Arrangements are afoot to organize the celebrations on a large scale.
Meanwhile, rush of pilgrims to Tirumala thinned on Monday. Devotees are waiting in eight compartments for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. It was taking six hours for Sarva Darsanam and two hours for Special Darsanam. (NSS)
