Hyderabad: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has made it clear that the Congress government has the strength to face the no-confidence motion if the TDP Chief Mr N Chandrababu Naidu or any other moves it in the Assembly. It said that it was against the democratic system to think of toppling the government, which was elected by the people.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Saturday along with the MLA Mr Mastan Vali, MLC Mr Rudraraju Padmaraju and former MLC Mr Madasu Gangadhar, the Government Chief Whip Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that Mr Naidu always concentrates on Chief Minister post instead of serving the people. He said that this was proved with his speeches in the ongoing Mahanadu meeting.

Expressing happiness over the statement of Mr Naidu on free power to the farmers for nine-hours, Mr Bhatti said that Mr Naidu was following the foot steps of the Congress Party.

Mr Bhatti warned Mr Naidu that he will lose his post of opposition leader in the House if he failed to extend cooperation to the State government, by opening his eyes at least now. (NSS)
