Kadapa: The Congress MP, Mr Sabbam Hari, has said that half of the Assembly would become vacant if the party leadership chose to disqualify MLAs supporting the YSR Congress chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Talking to a Telugu news channel, Mr Hari said that he would bid adieu to the Congress after the Kadapa and Pulivendula by-elections. He however admitted that the Congress high command has the right to take action against its MLAs.
When asked if the Kadapa by-elections would bring about any change, the MP said the elections were taking place because there was change. He also concurred with the former chief minister K Rosaiah that these elections would not bring any change in the political situation in the State. (NSS)
