New Delhi: Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Congress candidate trounced in Pulivendula by Ms Vijaya Lakshmi, has said that he would honor the people’s verdict.
He said sympathy for his late brother was responsible for the victory of Mr Jagan and his mother. He said the people have voted for them as the two told the voters how they were meted out injustice by the Congress leadership.
Talking to the media, Mr Reddy, who came here to give his explanation for his defeat in Pulivendula, said he did not need the sympathy of Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
It may be recalled that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy had said that he was sympathizing with his uncle.
Responding strongly to Mr Jagan’s remarks, Mr Vivekananda Reddy said that for him service to the people was most important and would continue to serve the people. (NSS)
