PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana has said that it was not possible to stop the leaders, who were switching over their loyalties to other parties to meet their selfish ends, every time. He said that the Party will resort to deliberations with the leaders who change the party as a group, but it is not possible to have discussions with individuals.

Speaking to the reporters here on Tuesday at Gandhi Bhavan, Botcha has questioned the leaders, who were shifting their loyalties to other parties, as to how they could join some other partyafter winning the election as candidate of a different party. He said that he will not ask any leader, who shifted their loyalties to another party, to tender his resignation to the party. “The leaders have to suffer themselves, but I will not ask them to tender their resignation”, he said.

Asked about MIM’s letter submitted to the State Governor withdrawing the party’s support to the Government, Botcha asked the reporters whether they saw it personally.

He said that the party will conduct a meeting with the important leaders this week. He said that the meeting with cadre in the morning and public meeting in the evening will be conducted in one Assembly constituency in every week.

Responding to a question, Botcha said that there might be more chances to continue the in-charge DCC chiefs till the elections. (NSS)
