Kadapa, April 10 : The Minister for Health, Dr D L Ravindra Reddy has alleged that Mr. Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has unnecessarily caused a burden of Rs 100 crore on the public exchequer, by forcing by-elections to Kadapa Parliament and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies through his and his mother’s resignations.
Dr Ravindra Reddy, who is Congress candidate for the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency has formally launched his election campaign at a party workers meeting in Khazipet.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Mr. Jagan was working with the sole aim of becoming the Chief Minister. He said He Jagan had never bothered about the welfare of the people and development of the constituency earlier. He has heckled Jagan for talking about good governance.
Dr. Ravindra Reddy has said that it was unfortunate that Mr. Jagan, who never talked about people’s problems in the Parliament, chose force the by elections unnecessarily on the people. He has criticized that the Pulivendula MLA and mother of Mr. Jagan, Mrs Vijayamma had also not stepped in the Assembly and said she never talked about people’s issues. He said the people would teach both a lesson in the ensuing by elections.
