Jagan group vows to dislodge Kiran before 2014 polls

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party leader and former minister, Mr Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, on Thursday declared that they would “do everything and anything” to dislodge the Chief Minister, Mr Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, from power before the 2014 general elections.

Talking to mediapersons here, the Jagan loyalist said that there were several instances in the past that a leader who has no popular support could not remain in office for long. He reiterated that they were making untiring efforts to topple the Kiran Kumar Reddy government, which enjoys no support from the people, as soon as possible.

Alleging that the Chief Minister was resorting to several illegal practices to remain in office, Mr Peddireddi ridiculed Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy saying whether those who garlanded the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi’s photo with footwear and burning her effigies, were looking like Congress loyalists to him. He also felt that the Congress party has paid heavily for fielding such cut-throats in the MLC elections. (NSS)
