Hyderabad: Finding fault with the main Opposition TDP for making corruption charges against late Dr YSR in the House, the former MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s loyalist MLAs have demanded that the government include the land allotments made during the TDP regime in the proposed JLC or House Committee.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Saturday along with the Congress MLAs, Mr Srikanth Reddy, Mr Gurunath Reddy, Mr Baburao, Ms Konda Surekha and others, the PRP MLA, Ms Shobha Nagireddy, has questioned as to why the TDP was stalling the House proceedings instead of allowing the House for a debate on land allotments. She said that the TDP was scared of exposure of its land allotments made to Raheja, Shamshabad Airport, MGM and many others during its regime and hence stalling the House repeatedly. She also alleged that the Reliance Company had given Rs 2,600 crores to the “Eenadu” proprietor, Mr Ramoji Rao, in the name of buying stakes in his company. She also demanded that the government allow discussion on Margadarshi Chit Funds issue in the House. Stating that Mr Chandrababu Naidu, who was not able to face Mr Jagan politically, was hatching conspiracy against Mr Jagan, she said that the TDP was demanding JLC.
Alleging that the main opposition party and ruling party entered into a match-fixing, Ms Shoba demanded that the government include all land allotments made since 1994 and allow them to participate in the debate.
Asking whether it was ‘development’ if Mr Chandrababu Naidu allots lands to the companies and was it ‘corruption’ if late Dr YSR allotted lands to the same, Mr Srikanth Reddy said there was a rumor that the Reliance Company was behind the death of late YSR. (NSS)
