Tirupati: The former Union Minister, Ms Renuka Choudari, has said that the “YSR Congress Party” launched by the former Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, would have no future.
Talking to the media here, she said that several such parties have come and gone. She felt that the Congress party would have no problem as such with such mushrooming political parties. Reminding that several senior leaders have started their own parties after differing with the Congress leadership, she said all those leaders had vanished in no time.

Ms Choudary also condemned the destruction of the statues of famous Telugus on the Tank Bund during the Million March. She said that Telangana could not be achieved through such destructive acts. She has demanded that the expenditure for the replacement of the statues should be recovered from the political leaders responsible for the destruction.

On the State not being able to get enough funds from the Centre, Ms Renuka said the disunity among the MPs of the State was responsible for the Centre neglecting the needs of the State. (NSS)
