Hyderabad: The APCC has alleged that the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, was adopting arm-twisting methods against his political rivals in the Kadapa as he was afraid of defeat and trying to get the by-elections postponed.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, the PCC official spokesperson, Ms Padmaja Reddy, said that Mr Jagan’s wish will not be fulfilled and added that the Kadapa voters would make Mr Jagan taste unceremonious defeat and show that they were real heirs of late Dr YSR.
Finding fault with some Congress MLAs for campaigning in favor of Mr Jagan, Ms Padmaja Reddy said that they were adopting dual standards and claiming that they were with the Congress party. She also alleged that their remote was in the hands of the Karnataka BJP leader, Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy. (NSS)
