KCR, Vijayasanti stage walk out in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: TRS members Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao and Ms. Vijaya Santi have staged a walk out in Lok Sabha on Friday, protesting against Speaker’s denial to permit a debate on the Telangana issue.

The two have created ruckus in the House in the morning demanding a discussion on the Telangana issue, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House. When the House reassembled after the break, they insisted on postponement of the Question Hour and taking up of debate on Telangana.

As the Speaker Ms. Meera Kumar has rejected their demand, they staged a walk out. The Speaker has tried in vain to convince the two members of the need to allow the House take up other listed business. The Speaker who disallowed the Adjournment Motion of TRS on Telangana issue, has told the members that she would allow raising of the issue if they came before her in another form. This did not satisfy the members.

Meanwhile, TDP members Nama Nageswara Rao and Ramesh Rathod have boycotted the proceedings of Lok Sabha, supporting the TRS members. (NSS)
