Hyderabad, April 17 : Asserting that the ruling Congress party would bite the dust in the Kadapa district by-elections, the YSR Congress Party loyalist, Mr Gone Prakash Rao, has said that the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, will be replaced immediately after the electoral debacle.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Mr Prakash Rao, formerly chairman of APSRTC, said that the AICC president, Ms Sonia Gandhi, was functioning like late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Pointing out that late Indira Gandhi had appointed Bhavanam Venkatram, who had no support in the State, as chief minister, Mr Prakash Rao said that Ms Sonia Gandhi has emulated her mother-in-law by installing Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy as Chief Minister, who has no support even in his home district Chittoor.

Mr Prakash Rao said that the Chief Minister has dispatched the ministers, especially all the woman ministers to Pulivendula, for electioneering in Kadapa district. He said that YSR family was in lucrative business from the beginning and paid Income Tax. He also explained that Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was in business in several States even before his father late YSR became chief minister. (NSS)
