Hyderabad, April 17 : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA from Sircilla and party supremo, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao’s son, Mr K T Rama Rao, here on Sunday lashed out at the Telangana Telugu Desam party legislators for hounding like street dogs the senior TDP leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, for speaking a bit boldly on the Telangana issue. He also agreed with Dr Nagam’s comments that the NTR Bhavan was infested with “chillar” (cheap) leaders.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Rama Rao described the TDP as Timid Duds Party. He also charged the leaders like Mr Errabelli Dayakar Rao with mortgaging the self-respect of Telangana with the party supremo, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu. “It is totally wrong to treat the slaves of Mr Chandrababu Naidu as advocates of Telangana,” he added.

Stating that the TRS was ready to face an inquiry into the assets of party supremo, Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao, Mr Rama Rao dared the TDP president to come forward for an inquiry into the assets of both. Alleging that there were no important leaders, barring NTR family members, in the TDP, Mr Rama Rao said that all the people of Telangana region were the members of the TRS. He also asked Mr Chandrababu Naidu, who had two acres of land, to explain how he could become owner of Rs 2,000-crores property.

Alleging that Mr Chandrababu Naidu had ditched his father-in-law and party patriarch late N T Rama Rao, the TRS leader charged the TDP president with backstabbing the four-crore people of Telangana after December 9 declaration of the Union government on Telangana. (NSS)
