KVP Joins Raghuveera In Pada Yatra

Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao has joined revenue minister Raghuveera Reddy in his ‘Bhageeratha Vijaya Yatra’ which he had undertaken coinciding with the inauguration of the ‘Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanti’ project.

Rama Chandra Rao said he wanted to stand by Raghuveera reddy and share the joy of the people of Rayalaseema in getting Krishna water to their parched lands and dried up throats.

Raghuveera’s pada yatra which started at Malyala in Kurnool district would continue for 12 days covering 236 km to reach Jeedipalli reservoir in Anantapur district. While he walked for 11 km on the first day, he covered 20 km on the second. (NSS)
