Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) Supremo & MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi handed over a letter to Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan about withdrawal of its support to the AP Congress government in the state. He said that the decision came in the wake of communal disturbance here over a temple adjacent to Charminar.
Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi Informing him about his party’s decision to withdraw the support to the AP state government. He accused that the government of allowing expansion of the temple abutting the historic Charminar in alleged violation of the court’s order to maintain status quo.
Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, explained to the governor the circumstances which led to his party withdrawing support.
MIM Supremo Asaduddin said his party was compelled to take the decision due to “communal” behaviour of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
