AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has alleged that the MIM was working with a hidden agenda and hence it had snapped ties with the Congress party, and demanded the MIM leaders to tender an apology for alleging that the Congress party was a communal party.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Thursday, Ponguleti said that MIM party was feeling that all the Muslim Minority votes belong to the MIM, but in reality, the Minority votes belong to Congress party only. He said that the true colors of MIM would be known within four days.
School Education Minister Dr S Sailajanath has said that it was not correct on the part of MIM, which had already found a new friend, to accuse the Congress party of being communal. He said that even Muslim brothers were opposing the allegation made by the MIM that the Congress party joined hands with the communal forces. He said that the Congress party was not feeling unhappy over MIM decision, and the party will explain the facts to the people regarding MIM alliance. (NSS)
