Hyderabad: Devotees of Lord Venkatewara who wish to visit Tirumala can have their accommodation reserved online from the local TTD office at Sri Balaji Bhavan, Himayathnagar in the city. They can also have the Rs.50 Sudarshan tokens.
The local office will function from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 40 pm on other days. Every Tuesday is a weekly holiday.
Sridevi, Bhoodevi sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy Kalyanotsavan will be conducted on every Sunday at the local TTD Sri Venkateswara Temple, Himayathnagar, from 10 am. The participation fee is Rs.400. On every Friday, Abhishekam to Srivaru (moolavarlu) will be conducted from 5.45 am to 7.30 am. The participation fee is Rs.100.
Organisations, pandits, bhajan and song groups interested in participation in the Hindu Dharma Prachara programmes can contact the Hindu Dharma Prachar Parishat office at Sri Balaji Bhavan.
The local TTD is organising Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam purana pravachanam by Pandit Srirama Hebbar, from April 1 to April 26, from 6 to 8 pm every day at Sri Anjaneya swamy temple, Chintal, Jeedimetla, for the convenience of devotees.
The following are the other programmes being conducted by the TTD: Harikatha by Mr P Ramadasu from 2 to 4 pm on April 3, at TTD SV Veda Pathashala, Keesaragutta, RR District. Annamacharya Sankeerthanalu from 6.30 pm on Apri; 3 qt TTD temple, Balaji Bhavan, Himayathnagar; Ugadi Panchanga Sravanam from 4.30 pm on April 4, at Balaji Bhavan. (NSS)
