Kadapa: Though the Congress and YSR Congress candidates, Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy and Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy were avoiding personal attacks against each other in their speeches, they are leveling allegations in their pamphlets in the ongoing by-elections.

Mr Vivekananda Reddy has alleged that Mr Jagan was disloyal to the Congress party which has helped his family grow politically. “Leaving the party of your origin and causing these by-elections unnecessarily, do you call this trustworthiness? Viveka questioned his nephew in the pamphlets.

In a strongly-worded reply to his uncle, Mr Jagan has explained why voters should not vote to him. He said Mr Vivekananda Reddy caused a split in the joint family by remaining in the Congress party. He said he had become a slave of the Congress just for the sake of a minister’s post. He said the elections were caused only because of the minister’s post to Vivekananda Reddy. (NSS)
