Rosaiah happy over ACB court’s verdict

Hyderabad: Former chief minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday expressed happiness over the AP High Court clearing his name in the Maitrivanam alleged land scam.

Talking to media persons at assembly premises, the former chief minister stated that he was pained after the Anti-Corruption Bureau booking cases against him and a probe was ordered in connection with de-notification of land in Ameerpet area.

Stating that in his long political career he never resorted to irregularities, Rosaiah expressed satisfaction and happiness over the ACB court verdict.

Reiterating that he never wanted any posts from the party, Rosaiah said that he would continue as loyal worker and obey all the decisions of high command. “I don’t expect any posts from the party at this stage,” he stated.

Stating that Centre was committed to eradicate corruption, he said the government was making serious efforts to end Anna Hazare’s agitation by resolving his demands. He said that the Centre would include recommendations of Anna hazare in the Lokpal Bill draft to be introduced in the Parliament. (INN)
