Hyderabad: The Home Minister Ms Sabita Indrareddy said that the State government was taking various programme for integrated development of Rangareddy district. She informed that irrigation water would be provided to three lakh acre land if Pranahita- Chevella irrigation Project is completed.
She hoisted the National Flag at Cybarabad Police Commissioner office, Gachibowli on the occasion of 65th Independence Day. She said that the government would spend Rs 182 crore for development of lakes with NABARD funds. She said that new schemes will be introduced for the 132 Fluorine affected villages. She also said that Manjeera Drinking water project, with a cost of Rs 26 Crore, has been prepared for Tandur town. She said that the Central government has sanctioned Rs 148 crore to develop Vikarabad town as Satellite Township.
