Sack Venkatesh at once, CPI leader urges CM

Kurnool: Condemning the statement of the Rayalaseema Congress leader and Minor Irrigation Minister, Mr T G Venkatesh, that he would float a ‘Special Protection Squad” to protect the Rayalaseema people in the Telangana region, the CPI State executive member and former MLA, Mr Ramakrishna, demanded that the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, sack him immediately. He also ridiculed Mr Venkatesh as an army chief without army.

Speaking to mediapersons in Adoni after participating in tenant farmers’ convention on Sunday, Mr Ramakrishna described Mr Venkatesh as an an army chief without any army. He has urged the Chief Minister to remove Mr Venkatesh from his Cabinet for making provocative and unconstitutionalo remarks.

The CPI leader also advised the ministers to solve the burning problems of the people instead of making provocative speeches.
