Hyderabad: The BC Welfare Minister, Mr Basavaraju Saraiah, on Thursday said that the Congress government in the State has no intention to take revenge against the YSR Congress Party chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Condemning Mr Jagan’s remarks that the Congress party will be destroyed, he said God was observing everything as said by Mr Jagan.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Saraiah said that every Indian citizen should have faith in the Constitution. He asked Mr Jagan whether the High Court had ordered CBI inquiry into his assets case succumbing to the pressure of the State government.
Responding to a query, Mr Saraiah said the people of the Telangana region were least bothered even the State was divided further after creation of separate Telangana. He said the youth will trek different paths if separate Telangana State was not created. Referring to the Seemandhra leaders’ contention that there would be communal riots if the State was bifurcated, Mr Saraiah said there were no communal riots in the past.
Stating that the Telangana Congress leaders were fighting for the sake of Telangana in Gandhian way, he said that they were following the path of non-violent path to achieve separate State. He also said that the Telangana Congress steering committee would decide whether to participate in the Independence Day celebrations or not.
Meanwhile, the Labour Minister, Mr Danam Nagender, said it was not correct on the part of Telangana employees to abstain from discussions expecting something different. He said the problems would be solved through the discussions only. He said the government brought some important services under ESMA with an idea to prevent problems for the people. The government has increased deployment of security forces keeping in view the safety of the people.
