Hyderabad: The team of doctors attending on the ailing Sri Satya Sai Baba over the last few days, has said that his health condition had shown slight improvement by the afternoon of Thursday.
Dr Safaya, Hospital Director said that Baba’s response to their treatment was satisfactory and as a result he regained more consciousness by Thursday afternoon. The functioning of his kidneys had shown some improvement, but still he would be continued on Ventilation, he said and added that the Continuous Renal Replacement therapy would have to be continued further. He said that Baba’s pulse rate and blood pressure were normal.
Dr Safaya further said that duration of dialysis has been reduced, as his kidney function improved.
The 85-year old Sri Satya Sai Baba was admitted to the hospital on March 28, with Pneumonia and breathing problems. (NSS)
