Satya Sai Baba’s Health Is Stable

Puttaparti: The Prasantigram Super Specialties Hospital here has issued a special bulletin on Sunday afternoon stating that the condition of Bhagavan Satyasai Baba was stable.

Hospital director Dr. Safai has said that the Baba was put on ventilators and he was also administered dialysis.

Meanwhile, the state government is taking special measures to provide the best treatment to the Baba. A team of medical specialists has arrived here and has been supervising the condition of Baba under the direct orders from the Chief Minister Mr. N. Kirankumar Reddy. Ministers Raghuveera Reddy and Dr. Geeta Reddy have also come here and discussed about Baba’s health with the doctors of the super specialty hospital.

The DGP Mr. Aravinda Rao has also come here and has appointed a special officer to regularly monitor the health of the Baba. The DGP has warned the TV channels against telecasting speculative reports on Baba’s health.

Expressing anxiety about the spread of rumours, the super Specialty Hospital has started issuing medical bulletins at regular intervals. People heaved a sigh of relief after the hospital released an official medical bulletin stating that the condition of the Baba was stable.

Police made extraordinary security arrangements both at the Prasanti Nilayam and the hospitals. Even the ministers were not allowed into the room where Baba is receiving treatment. Trust has taken over the arrangements at the hospital. Satya Sai Seva Dal volunteers were deployed in large number to control the thousands of devotees arriving at Puttaparti.


Mrutyunjaya Yagnam was performed at the Pedda Venkamaraju Kalyana Mandapam praying the Gods to set right the health of the Baba. Satya Sai’s relatives and hundreds of devotees have participated in the Yagnam.

Minister Ms. Geeta Reddy who has been camping in Puttaparti for the past three days has reviewed his health condition with the doctors attending on him on Saturday. (NSS)
