Several thousands of devotees have reached Puttaparti in Anantapur district, where the Baba has his Ashram.

In Hyderabad, hundreds of Baba’s devotees including several women gathered at the Baba’s Shivam complex and offered prayers there. Some women were seen profusely weeping. A spokesman of the Satya Sai Trust while stating that there was no cause for anxiety, urged the channels not to telecast roumors on the man who was God to millions of people all over the world. He said it was a case of human sentiments and asked the media not to play with them for the sake of up-man-ship in news coverage and competition with other channels.
