Hyderabad: Stating that he had rejected the offer of chief minister post by the YSR Congress Party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s men, the Handlooms and Textiles Minister, Dr P. Shankar Rao, said that he had clearly told them that he does not want to become a traitor and would not withdraw the cases filed against Mr Jagan.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Monday, Dr Shankar Rao said that the UPA-II government completed two years successfully and sent clear indications to the nation that it would not tolerate ‘corruption’ any more.
Responding to a query, Dr Shankar Rao said that the AICC Chief, Ms Sonia Gandhi, would concede the demand of separate Telangana State soon. He said that the Congress and ‘Amaraveerulu’ would bring the separate State. (NSS)
