us-court-issues-summons-to-sonia-gandhi-in-1984-antisikh-riots-case_040913031949Deputy Chief Minister, Damodar Raja Narasimha today exhorted people and political parties to set aside their differences and put in concerted efforts to rebuild Telangana for next three years as the Center is committed to give statehood.

After unveiling “Telangana Udyoga Sanghala Dairy 2014” at a program organized at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium here, he criticized that Seemandhra leaders are conspiring to stall bifurcation process which will prove in vain. He maintained that when he called on AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, she said that the Centre is committed for Telangana statehood despite any political pressure, or threat by the Seemandhra Congress leaders. Telangana was suffering injustices for about six decades due to the partisan attitude of Seemandhra rulers, he said. At this juncture the Centre is keeping its promise of giving statehood to Telangana, he observed.

He flayed that Seemandhra forces together conspiring against bifurcation for political gains, not with love on the people. Seemandhra leaders including Chief Minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Telugu Desam Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party President YS Jaganamohan Reddy were making last ditch efforts to stall bifurcation process.

He made a scathing attack on Kiran, Naidu and Jagan for deceiving their people in the name of Samaikyandhra.
Mallepalli Lakshmaih, T JAC Co-convenor, lambasted Seemandhra troika Chief Minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, N Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy for trying to stall bifurcation process by misusing a section of media. He ridiculed that Naidu lacked knowledge of Constitution which can go in for dividing the state by implementing Article 3. He wondered as to why the TD Chief argued with President Pranab Mukherjee that division process was against the Constitution. Naidu who was the Chief Minister for nine years and having good relations at national level is not aware of the Constitution.

The TD Chief earlier favored statehood for Telangana and had alliance with TRS, but now changed tack, he said. There is no meaning in Naidu’s argument that equal justice be done before the state was bifurcated, he said. He also criticized the Chief Minister for his remarks against bifurcation and defying his own party high command for selfish gains. He also slammed that Jagan neither knows the Constitution nor aware of laws in this regard. These three leaders were pretending to be champions of Samaikyandhra though they cannot prevent the statehood to Telangana, he said suggesting that the media should refrain from falling prey to their tactics. They were only talking against the division of the state for political mileage and resorting to bad propaganda through a section of media.

G Kishen Reddy, BJP state President, flayed Kiran Reddy and Naidu of deceiving people on bifurcation issue. The people of Seemandhra will sure teach them a befitting lesson to in 2014 general elections, he warned. People are aware of nefarious designs of Kiran, Naidu and Jagan who have earlier promised to support Telangana demand and now swiftly moving against bifurcation. Naidu and Jagan extended support through a letter and an appeal to use Article 3 to bifurcate the state earlier, but now on toes to mislead the people, he said.

TRS floor leader E Rajender, Congress Rajya Sabha Member Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, TGOs leader Vithal and others participated in the program.
