Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday appointed one senior IAS officer as Special Officer to each district to deal with natural calamities, if any, which are likely to occur during the South West Monsoon.
The senior IAS officers appointed as Special Officers to the districts are: Mr Vikas Raj (Adilabad), Mr V. Anil Kumar (Anantapur), Mr G. Sai Prasad (Chittoor), Mr Jayesh Ranjan (YSR Kadapa), Mr M. Subrahmanyam (East Godavari), Mr Mohd. Ali Rafat (Guntur), Mr Navin Mittal (Hyderabad), Mr Sandeep Kumar Sultania (Karimnagar), Ms V. Usharani (Khammam), Mr B.R. Meena (Krishna), Mr K. Madhusudhan (Mahbubnagar), Mr L Premchandra Reddy (Medak), Mr K. Vijayanand (Nalgonda), Mr G. Anantha Ramu (Nellore), Mr I. Srinivas (Nizamabad), Mr D. Srinivasulu (Prakasam), Mr Shalini Mishra (Warangal), Mr G. Jayalakshmi (West Godavari), Mr N. Srikanth (Srikakulam), Dr B. Kishore (Vizianagaram), Mr Sanjay Jaju (Visakhapatnam), Mr M. Dana Kishore (Ranga Reddy) and Mr Mukesh Kumar Meena ( Kurnool).
The special officers will look after the works and coordinate with the district officials during any natural calamities which are likely to occur during South West Monsoon ie. from June to September.
