T-TDP leaders meet CM, demand withdrawal of GO 177

Hyderabad, April 17 : The Telugu Desam party leaders of the Telangana region have called on the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, in his camp office and urged him to withdraw immediately the controversial “No work No Pay” GO No. 177.

The Telangana TDP leaders have reportedly told the Chief Minister that the people of the region were suspecting that the controversial GO was issued as a part of suppressing the ongoing agitation for separate Telangana State.

Speaking to the media later, the senior TDP leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, said that the State government was resorting to arm-twisting methods and programmers as part of the implementation of the secret Eighth Chapter of the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee on the bifurcation of the State. He also warned that they would intensify the agitation if the State government failed to withdraw the controversial GO. (NSS)
