Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Monday urged the state government to take over the Satya Sai Central Trust in the wake of allegations that the movable properties were being shifted illegally to Karnataka.
Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, Mr Sudhakar Reddy demanded that the government focus its attention on the members of the Trust, besides taking over the functioning of the Trust.
“The state government must focus its attention on the allegations being raised against some members that they are transporting assets and money illegally to the neighbouring Karnataka state,” the senior Congress leader stated.
Mr Sudhakar Reddy further appealed to the state government to order a probe into transporting of money and sought stern punishments to the guilty.
He added that the government should take all measures to protect the money and valuables of the late seer, Satya Sai Baba.
