Hyderabad: Holding the Centre and the State government responsible for the present health condition of Bhagavan Satya Sai Baba, the TDP has demanded that facts about his health be made public by releasing the video of the seer.

In a statement here on Thursday, the party senior leader, Mr Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, has said that it was pathetic that the Prime Minsiter, the Chief Minister and all other top leaders in the government, who seek Baba’s blessings to save their positions have grossly neglected his health. He also questioned as to why the Centre failed to send a special doctors’ team from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences so far. He said it was shameful on the part of the government to show interest on the properties of the Satya Sai Trust instead of showing interest on the Baba’s health.

Stating that the State government has posted four Intelligence officials at Puttaparthi to regularly report on the happenings there, he questioned what reports they gave to the government. He said it was alarming that Baba was unnecessarily administered sleeping pills and yet the government has not taken any action on those who have done it.

Stating that even God would not pardon the State and Central governments for their negligence towards the health of the Baba, he said the government should at least now make public videos which show the actual condition of the seer. (NSS)
