Nalgonda: Separate Telangana agitators today raided the CPI (M) office at Bhongir and resorted to dharna at the residence of the lone CPM legislator Mr. Julakanti Ranga Reddy at Miryalguda, demanding his resignation.
The agitators damaged the furniture and glass panes of the CPI (M) office at Bhongirm and demanded that the party should decide in favour of separate Telangana state and support the agitation.
Telangana agitators raided Mr Julakanti’s house this morning, but were dispersed by the police personnel who were posted in large numbers. The agitators demanded that he should resign his Assembly membership as was done by the Congress, TDP, TRS and CPI members. They demanded that Mr Reddy should convince his party in support of Telangana or quit it.
