New Delhi: The Congress MP from Vijayawada, Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal, has said that there would be no loss for the Congress, even if Telangana was not conceded.

In a letter to Mr Gulam Nabi Azad, State in-charge in the AICC, he stated the party would remain strong even if it denies Telangana state.

Mr Lagadapati has stated that every one should abide by the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee report. He said that it was every one’s duty to honour the report as the Committee has prepared it after thorough study of the ground level situation. The governments also should implement the Committee’s report as they are.

On the local body elections, Mr Lagadapati said the Congress party would be victorious. He said the recent MLC elections would not influence local body elections. (NSS)
