Hyderabad, Feb.11 (NSS): Telangana Political JAC has decided to intensify its agitation for separate State formation. As part of it, it is starting non-cooperation movement and other agitations from February 13, and continue the stir till Telangana Bill was introduced in the Parliament.
TP JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram, speaking to the media here on Friday, announced the non-cooperation programme from February 13 to 22 in the entire Telangana region. He said that on February 13, they would arrange ‘chaatimpulu’ (drum beat announcements) in all the villages asking the people to start the non-cooperation movement. ‘Jail Bharo’ programme would be taken up on February 15, followed by dharnas in front of the houses of MLAs on February 16.
They would organize ‘Rasta Rokos’ on February 19 and lay seize to the National Highway No.9 on February 20. From February 22, there would be ‘Bandh’ programme, he stated.
Prof. Kodandaram has given a call to the people of Telangana region to participate in the non-cooperation movement, which would be in the shape of not taking tickets in RTC buses, not paying toll gate and house taxes, boycotting the census work, etc. (NSS)
