Hyderabad: What is the next step of YSR Congress leader, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, after receiving record majority in the by-elections? With this spirit, whether he move steps to topple the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government? There are nerve-raking doubts in the minds of not only political circles, but also in the common man.
Rumors were making rounds for the last few days that Mr Jagan was working out a perfect plan to either create intractable problems or if possible, topple the government. The victory presented by Kadapa people to him and his mother in the by-elections will definitely give strength and encourage him to go forward with his plans. As per the opinion of the political experts, the results of by-elections will have impact on politics in the State to some extent. With the huge majority in the by-elections, Mr Jagan has got new image.
There were speculations in the political circles that Mr Jagan was working with a plan to pull out at least 68 ministers from the ruling party to fell Kiran Kumar Reddy government. If Mr Jagan succeeds, it would not be possible for the Kiran Kumar Reddy government to survive even with the support of MIM and PRP MLAs. Mr Jagan was main focus may be on the MLAs from Seemandhra where YSR sympathy among the people was more.
With the support of his own media house and money power, the young leader was capable to influence the minds of the people and attract the leaders towards his newly floated party.
The failure of the present government in the effective implementation of YSR welfare schemes, particularly Rajiv Arogya Sree and tuition fee reimbursement would definitely become an advantage to Mr Jagan in future. The increasing dissidence against the government will also become a plus point to YSR Congress.
It seems new political developments would take place in the State creating crisis to the State government. (NSS)
