Yadi Reddy’s suicide: Komatireddy asks Jaipal Reddy to quit

Nalgonda: The minister, Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, has demanded that the Union minister for Petroleum, Mr S Jaipal Reddy, immediately quit the post owning moral responsibility for the suicide of Telangana protagonist Yadi Reddy of Nalgonda district at the India Gate in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Speaking to mediapersons in Nalgonda on Thursday, Mr Komatireddy described the suicides of distressed Telangana youth as suicides of Seemandhra leaders. He also challenged that he would get separate Telangana State conceded by the party high command and the UPA government if the Telangana Telugu Desam Forum leaders made their party supremo, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, write a letter to the Centre in support of formation of separate State.

Meanwhile in New Delhi, the Telangana Congress leaders visited the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and paid tributes to the body of Yadi Reddy who committed suicide in a park near the India Gate on Wednesday morning as he was heart broken over the inordinate delay in announcing Telangana State by the Centre.

The MPs, Mr Ponnam Prabhakar, Dr K Keshav Rao, Mr Manda Jagannatham, Mr Rajaiah, Mr V Hanumanth Rao, and the minister Mr K Jana Reddy were among those who visited the body of Yadi Reddy.

Meanwhile, preparations were being made to bring the body of the youth to Hyderabad this evening.

    very sick. One sick person commits suicide and all the mad people on the road praising him as the hero. Why dont our so called leaders commit suicide?
