Hyderabad: The TDP leaders, Mr. Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, and Mr Linga Reddy have alleged that the YSR Congress Party was born to corruption and brought up by lies.
Talking to the media here on Monday, they have asked what right Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress party, had to question the TDP as why it had not moved a no-confidence motion. Referring to the YSRCP charge that the TDP had colluded with the Congress, they reminded that Mr Jagan’s late father YSR had also not moved a no-confidence motion against the government from 1999 to 2004 and asked whether YSR had also colluded with the then Telugu Desam government.
Referring to the claim of the YSRCP that 29 MLAs had attended a meeting in Mr. Jagan’s house, the two TDP leaders had questioned whether hey had decided to support the Congress government in that meeting. They have also questioned why Ms Vijaya Lakshmi, mother of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy abstained from the House.
Referring to the statement of Mr Jagan that he would give his party tickets to new faces, the two leaders had asked if he would ditch those Congress MLAs, who trusted and supported him. They said that imply because he had a newspaper and a channel, he could not dream of damaging the TDP, which they said even his father could not do so.
Referring to the statement of Mr Jagan during the recent by-elections that his fight was with Ms Sonia Gandhi, Mr Linga Reddy has questioned how he made his supporters vote for the Speaker candidate selected by her. Alleging that he made his MLAs surrender at the feet of Ms Gandhi, Mr Linga Reddy has questioned how he could restore the Kadapa valour.
